PhD candidate in Economics

University of British Columbia (UBC)

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia. I am an applied microeconomist working at the intersection of development, economic history, behavioral economics, and political economy. My research focuses on the topics of health, gender, and caste dynamics.

In my job market paper, I examine how Green Revolution technologies in India reshaped crop diversity and nutritional access, connecting these changes to long-term health outcomes and emphasizing the overlooked consequences of agricultural innovation.

I am on the 2024/2025 Economics Job Market.
